an Advertising Campaign

If you would like to effectively promote your business, Car.gr is the ideal solution. More than 400,000 visitors per day and more than 5 million users per month in a fully targeted audience and with additional targeting possibilities to reach the potential customers you want.

Your ad will be displayed in specific placement spaces and in rotation with other advertisers who would like to advertise too.

All you have to do is by having an active user or merchant account and go to the advertising platform we have created for this purpose.

At Car.gr, you can advertise from 1€ per day. A good budget to start with is 150€ per month. The more you increase your budget, the more your ad impressions will increase.

Campaigns are the advertising sets of a group of ads. For example, let's say I want to run 2 campaigns in parallel and see which campaigns have better results. The "schedule", the "budget" and "delivery" are defined at the "ad level". Τhe "landing page", "images" and "audience targeting" are defined at the ad banner level. More details on implementation can be found in ad creation.

In the first step of campaign creation you will need to define the name of your campaign which is for your own usage and to make it easier for you to identify them.

In the second step you define the name of the ad which is also for your own usage too. At this stage you need to define the scheduling (duration of the ad) day and time. You also need to set the daily or total budget you have for this particular ad. Finally, you will need to define how you want your ad to be delivered (distribution) and there are 3 different ways: Evenly, as fast as possible and frontloaded. Another factor you should pay special attention to is the frequency limit, which refers to the maximum number of times a user can see your ad (numbers close to 1 are preferable for reaching a large audience, while numbers higher than 10 are preferable for frequent viewing of your ad).

Once the above has been defined, in the next step you will also need to define a name for your own usage. Then you will need to set the landing page you prefer to direct the user (e.g. your website link, your Facebook page or your business link on google maps).

At the next step you will create the ad. You can either upload your custom images (specific dimensions and and parameters) or you can proceed with our templates. The template essentially gives you the option to add:

• Promotional text (ex. Limited time offer for winter tires)
• Call-to-action button (ex. "Learn more", "Buy now", "Get the offer")
• Logo (your official logo)

Then you will need to define the placements in which your advertisement will appear at Car.gr as well as define if you would like to target specific geographic locations of the user or specific categories. For vehicle ads there is also the option to target specific brands (ex. advertisement in cars category and brands "bmw" & "Toyota" or in motorcycles category and brands "Yamaha" & "Honda")

At last, you should click publish and your advertisement will be sent for approval by Car.gr administrators.

After the ad is published, you send it to the administrators for approval which can take up to 48 hours

When an ad is shown as active, it means that it is being shown to users and you can check its visibility through the dashboard that shows impressions, active views and clicks.

One reason why your ad may not be displayed is because your current location is different from the targeted location or the targeted category is also different from the one that you are trying to check your ad. Finally, your budget may be too small and this means that the frequency that your ad is showing is really low. Just because the ad does not appear to you, this does not mean that your ad is not shown to the Car.gr visitors. Please have in mind also that you charged for views you make on your ads.
