9:1 high (57cc dome) compression ratio. S forged pistons with an advanced alloy and skirt profiles, resulting in a quiet engine and long life, previously only achievable with cast pistons. Used as replacement, with a higher compression ratio, for 1200cc (74\") Shovel, Pan and Knucklehead models. 3-7/16\" bore with stock 3-31/32\" stroke. Pistons include wrist pins, wrist pin clips and piston rings. Note: S piston fit recommendations: Close fit .0030\" to .0035\", loose fit .004\" to .005\". Note: In any and all applications the technician must be able to judge components for their suitability in combination with the other engine components, prior to installation. It is of importance that a knowledgeable mechanic will install & make adjustments as required. The rider must follow standard break-in and riding procedures for overhauled engines.
