It is very easy to damage the angled idle mixture screw seat in soft aluminum carburetor housing. This is very hard or impossible to repair. It can result in irregular idling. Note: The early style (approx. pre-2013) mixture screw (MCS 977815) is not interchangeable with the late style (approx. 2013-up) mixture screw (MCS 940521) o-ring type mixture screw. The late style carburetor body housing can be identified by the text \'Made In USA\' next to the text \'SHORTY\'.
