GM Chrome 100 Amp MADE IN USA
Procomp chrome finish Delco style GM 100 amp alternator. This is a 1 wire hookup piece with internal voltage regulator. Direct replacement for '73-'96 GM vehicles but will also replace earlier alternators, allowing you to toss the external regulator and greatly simplifying your wiring. Only requires 1 wire going to the battery. Billet aluminum 1 groove pulley.
High output, great for today's increased ignition, sound, and accessory power demands. No more dim or pulsating dash and headlights with that old tired stock unit!
This alternator is a direct replacement on 73 and up Chevy vehicles, till approx 96, but can be used on earlier vehicles before 1973. NO EXTRA WIRING NEEDED. ONE WIRE TO THE BATTERY IS ALL THAT IS NEEDED ON THIS MODEL, OR YOU MAY HOOK IT UP AS OEM ALT HOOKED UP. It hooks up exactly as the oem unit does, minus the side plug. The voltage regulator is internal. This gives you the opportunity to eliminate the external voltage regulator as well as the mass of wires going to it on vehicles before 73. This unit actually fits in place of the early model external regulator alts. This will make your engine compartment much cleaner by eliminating quite a few wires.
