The device is essential if you are going to repair the turbocharger with mounted electronic actuators.
What a tester VNTT-PRO is used for?
In addition to checking for correct operation of electronic controllers, VNTT-PRO tester can perform check of a variable geometry position sensors. Such sensors are used in turbines whose variable geometry is managed using the pneumatic valve. They provide information about the current opening vanes variable geometry.
With VNTT-PRO it is possible to perform the following tests:
test of electronic controllers of turbochargers with wastegate
test of electronic actuators of turbochargers with variable geometry (VTG, VNT)
test of dc motors from turbocharger actuators
test of wastegate position sensors or variable geometry position sensors
test of solenoid valves controlling turbocharging pressure, used in pneumatic systems
Tester VNTT-PRO can also be helpful in the process of adjusting the range of variable geometry.
